Rain weeps from large, pendulous storm clouds, each the color of sidewalks in winter. The wind whips up and parts the clouds, dispersing them into a fine mist. Through the clouds, an arrow of sunlight pierces the sky with its brilliance and captures a single raindrop hovering in the grey-blue dome above. The light bends and twists upon itself, arcing over the sky separated into to its component parts into a rainbow. A bridge between this world and the next. A connection.
You reach your hand into this stunning array of color and light where red bleeds in ever bending hues into orange which falls like autumn leaves into yellow which bends like sunlight into green which flutters like a blade of grass dipping into blue which flows like a night cloud into indigo which rises into the twilight of purple. A neverending stream of color. Your fingers graze something. A wisp of color, a trinket, a dew drop of rainbow and you snatch from the sky.
This is how this spectrum of crystal color came into Teresa Deleen's workshop. Each necklace is a dew drop of rainbow connected to a chain for you to wear above your heart.
