You can hear the steno pool all abuzz as they punch in the office accounts and draft correspondence on the old, stainless-steel Underwood typewriter, punching each key with deft and powerful digits, much more powerful than the fingers that caress today's ergonomic computer keyboards. The keys clack beneath perfectly manicured nails as the rod pounds into the page. A pause. A hand encloses a glass of merlot, or is it pinot grigio? She caresses the stem, the proper way to hold a glass of wine so the heat from your hand doesn't spoil the taste. And what hot hands she must have after working on a metal carriage typewriter in the early twentieth century! What better way to mix the literary with libation than these clickety-clack wine charms, each a character unto itself--much like your guests, I imagine.

These wine charms are made from authentic vintage typewriter keys. They have been meticulously cleaned by me but no one is exactly alike. These beauties are from the early 1900's and are full of charm and some imperfections. I have placed these into silver lace edge settings and hung from silver hoops that is easily placed on and off your stemware. The silver is not sterling so there is no need for polishing!
